Patina Palace

Our Patina Palace is truly singular. 4200 square feet of beauty and entertainment. Built in 1861. Renovated extensively between 2010-2015. Billiard room. Pool and hot tub. Tropical garden. Lots of care was taken to showcase the layers of history. Let us host your unforgettable trip to New Orleans.

Please do not book without looking at photos. We maintained the patina of the house in the course of restoration. This is intentional. We are not the right house if seeing the layers of paint, the wood lathe, the worn floors, and the vintage fixtures, are somehow undesirable. There is no home exactly like ours. We are not a hotel, and do not intend to be. If you search Seraphim House New Orleans, you'll find plenty of photos of the years weddings were held here. There have been plenty nights of milongas and swing/blues dancing, as well. Search Winter Palace Blues and Speakeasy Tango for some of that vibrance.

And then the twin in the kitchen but that’s more for watching someone cook for you.

We have an extensive photo collection, depicting a rich tapestry of genders, sexualities, and lifestyles. If this is something that makes you uncomfortable, please do not book with us. We do not move or take down art for our guests.

Our courtyard and pool have heavy foliage. Please see the photos. Trees, plants, and bamboo surround the yard and pool. Leaves fall off of trees and plants. These leaves sometimes wind up in the pool. If you desire to stay somewhere that the pool is always completely free of leaves or plant debris, please do not stay with us. We have twice weekly pool service and weekly landscaping. This is the extent of our courtyard and pool service.
